extended day

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s from 12:00 noon-2:00pm, we offer an extended class time for the older pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten aged child.  This class is an optional continuation of their morning class with additional lessons and extensions presented.

Children may add any 1, 2, or 3 afternoons. Children staying for extended day bring their lunch.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is the final year in the traditional Montessori pre-primary classroom.  This is the year that provides the child opportunities to become a leader and mentor.  It is during this Kindergarten year that the child is able to internalize and master those concrete concepts previously presented allowing him/her to move forward to more abstract concepts.

Kindergarteners attend class each morning Monday through Friday.  They also have the option of enrolling in extended-day class any Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday.
